Based on professional film set experiences, CineGEN has created lights with a semi-spherical light modifier - the Helio™ 60 softbox. Most of the reflector has been replaced with diffusing fabric, changing how the light is propagated and thus how it illuminates. The Helio™ creates an extensive, soft area of light with a gentler intensity compared to classic octaboxes of the same power. The light is omnidirectional (360°), with a relatively large light source size. The height of the lights allows you to use the ceiling as a natural reflector.

The light from Chrome™ Lanterns perfectly complements lighting in the background. Often, especially in amateur video, we see a shot with the foreground well-lit (usually a face) and the background underexposed (the interior of a room). Chrome™ Lanterns placed in the background allow you to simultaneously illuminate the background and highlight the foreground through contour lighting (hairlight, three-point lighting, movie look).

Adding Chrome™ Lanterns improves the tonal dynamics of an image, increasing its quality (and indirectly boosting bit rate during digital recording), allowing for lower ISO settings, and enhancing plasticity and color accuracy.

The Helio™ is a surprisingly effective adaptation of professional spherical softboxes. Its genius and simplicity lie in utilizing an existing, proven solution - the integrated octagonal softbox - to create a modifier with the properties of a completely different fixture: a spherical softbox. As a result, you get a professional light at a price that's unattainable for classic constructions. Assembly is also quick and easy, just like setting up a studio umbrella, saving valuable time. The diffusing fabric provides good light dispersion while only slightly reducing brightness.

The Helio™ 60 has a classic E27 bulb fitting and a mounting socket for lighting stands (most studio stands will fit). In the softbox (closed fixture), you can use low-temperature photo fluorescent lights as well as LED bulbs.

The Chrome™ Lanterns set already includes appropriately matched bulbs and studio stands.

Remotely controlled LED bulbs with adjustable color temperature and variable bulb power. Designed for photographic and film applications, allowing remote control even after installation in softbox fixtures. Efficient aluminum radiators provide passive cooling without noise, making the bulbs suitable for use during filming with sound recording.

The variable color temperature is achieved through a classic method known from on-camera lights - by mounting a chessboard of luminescent diodes with two different color temperatures. This solution has an additional advantage: shifts in the spectrum of individual diodes increase effective color rendering for the entire bulb. The range of color temperatures goes from 3600K to 6200K. The high luminous efficiency of the bulb means that at low active power consumption, we achieve very high luminance comparable to 100-watt bulbs.

The LED matrices are protected by a light-diffusing cover with an area of 112cm², ensuring pleasant, soft light distribution regardless of intensity. At short distances, the softened light can match that of a softbox or beauty dish lamp. The bulb produces very nice, relatively large reflections.

The generated light is continuous without flickering, allowing for filming at higher frame rates. The bulb is designed for indoor use, with an IP20 protection class. It's intended for professional applications in photographic studio conditions and not suitable for household use. The bulb housing isn't hermetically sealed.

Three-section studio and outdoor lighting stands with a maximum height of 210cm, working height of 200 cm, comfortable section clamps, a 16mm studio head with universal 1/4" thread. Designed for use with small and medium lights as well as lighting kits. They work excellently in configurations with flash and continuous light sources, softboxes, and halogen lamps. Their compact size when folded is achieved through the use of a telescopic folding mechanism, maintaining a wide range of working heights (from 78 to 210 cm, adjustable to any height) and versatility.

The stands allow you to work with Chrome™ Lanterns in most home studio setups. The height allows framing from sitting positions up to wide shots of entire rooms.
