How to Assemble the SOFTBOX OCTA Lamp
- Remove the softbox, tension rods, and diffusion cloth from their respective cases.
- From the CGLX4 box, take out the lighting fixture. The outer edge of the fixture (black plastic) has eight holes.
- Insert the glass fiber rods into the openings in the lighting fixture. It's important to insert the thicker end of the rod into the fixture first. They should go in with a slight resistance.
- Lay the softbox fabric on the floor so that the black material touches the ground and the silver side faces upward. Leave the Velcro straps unfastened.
- Place the lighting fixture on top of the silver surface. Insert the thinner ends of the rods into the pockets sewn into the corners of the softbox fabric.
- As you insert more rods, the softbox fabric will begin to stretch over the bending rods. You may need to use a little force, especially with octagonal softboxes.
- After assembling the fabric, set up the lighting stand and attach the fixture to it. Tighten the butterfly screws and fasten the Velcro straps on the back of the fabric.
- Secure the bulbs in the fixture.
- Attach the diffusion cloth by fastening it onto the Velcro straps attached to the softbox fabric.
