How to assemble the SOFTBOX lamp
The lamp will arrive at your place in a package containing: separately tripod, bulbs, fixture and softbox. The assembly of the lamp consists of several steps:
- We take out of the cover softbox, rods for tensioning the softbox and diffusing fabric. We put aside the diffusion fabric.
- From the box marked CGLX4 we remove the lighting fixture. On the outer edge of the fixture (black plastic) there are eight holes.
- We insert glass fiber rods into the openings in the lighting fixture. It is important to insert the thicker end of the rods into the fixture. They should go in with some resistance.
- The fabric (dome) of the softbox we lay on the floor so that the black material touches the floor and the silver side faces up. We leave the Velcro straps unfastened.
- We place the lighting fixture on the silver surface. The thinner ends of the rods are inserted into the pockets sewn in the corners of the softbox dome.
- During insertion of subsequent rods, the softbox dome will begin to tighten on the bending rods. It may be necessary to use a small amount of force, especially for octagonal softboxes.
- After assembling the dome we spread out the lighting tripod and attach it to the fixture. We tighten the butterfly screws and fasten the Velcro straps at the back of the dome.
- We fix bulbs in the fixture.
- We put on the diffusing fabric, fastening it with Velcro to the dome.
