Softbox
The fitting used is a high-quality softbox suitable for both flash bulbs and continuous light bulbs. The 50x50 cm dome is lined with silver material on the inside. Light is evenly distributed within the softbox, maintaining consistent power across the entire diffuser surface. The exterior of the softbox is matte black, preventing reflection of other lamps' light.
The softbox is easy to assemble and disassemble, taking up minimal space when folded. High-quality materials ensure hassle-free operation for years. Designed and manufactured with safety in mind for fluorescent bulbs.
Studio Stand
Lightweight, studio and outdoor three-section lighting stand. Maximum height of 230cm, working height 220cm, comfortable section clamps, 16mm studio head with universal 1/4" thread. Designed for use with small and medium lamps as well as lighting kits. Works great in configurations with flash and continuous light bulbs, softboxes, RedHead halogen lamps. Good build quality, 12-month warranty.
Its folded dimensions have been reduced by the telescopic folding mechanism, while maintaining a wide range of working heights (from 78 to 220 cm, adjustable to any height) and versatility of use. Leg spread (from foot to foot) is 75cm.
Photo Bulb (65W/5500K)
This fluorescent bulb generates light with a color ideal for photographic applications - it does not introduce color distortions. Thanks to its natural color rendering, the bulb is perfect for photographers working under continuous lighting. Using constant lighting allows you to model light faster and better predict the final result in photos. Low power consumption enables use of this bulb both in open fixtures and partially closed ones (softboxes, diffusers, octas). The luminous power of 65W corresponds to a 325W halogen bulb.

Can I use a softbox for filming?
Absolutely. Recently, we've been seeing more and more crossover of photographic applications into the world of film. The SOFTBOX 50x50cm continuous light fitting is an excellent alternative to budget panel lamp versions (known as kinoflo). This solution is significantly cheaper while achieving the same effect.
What's the difference between octagonal and rectangular softboxes?
The most noticeable difference is in the shape of reflections on reflective surfaces. This is particularly evident in portrait and fashion photography - the octagonal shape, similar to a circle, mimics solar reflections. Octagonal softboxes also feature better light distribution (especially when lighting from the front).
What should you keep in mind?
- Softboxes work best at short distances. Place them as close to the illuminated subjects or objects, right on the edge of the frame.
- The larger the softbox diameter, the softer the tonal transition between light and shadow.
- If you need to illuminate from a distance - remove the diffusive fabric. You'll get even more light this way.
