Tips for Use

Softboxes perform optimally at short distances. Place them as near as possible to the subjects you're illuminating, right on the edge of the frame.
The larger the softbox diameter, the softer the tonal transition between light and shadow.
If you need to illuminate from a greater distance, remove the diffusive fabric. This will provide even more light output.
