Czy mogę użyć softboxu do filmowania?

Jak najbardziej. Ostatnio, coraz częściej obserwujemy przenikanie zastosowań zarezerwowanych dla fotografii do świata filmu. Oprawa światła stałego SOFTBOX 40x40cm stanowi doskonałą alternatywę dla budżetowych wersji lamp panelowych (tzw. kinoflo). Koszt takiego rozwiązania jest zdecydowanie niższy a osiągany efekt - ten sam.

Czym różni się softbox oktagonalny od prostokątnego?

Różnicą, którą najłatwiej dostrzec jest kształt refleksów na powierzchniach odbijających. Szczególnie widoczne jest to w fotografii portretowej i modowej - oktagonalny kształt zbliżony do kolistego naśladuje refleksy słoneczne. Softboxy oktagonalne cechuje także lepszy rozkład światła (zwłaszcza podczas oświetlania od przodu).

O czym należy pamiętać?

  1. Softboxy "pracują" najlepiej na niewielkich odległościach. Ustawiaj je jak najbliżej oświetlanych osób lub przedmiotów, tuż na granicy kadru.
  2. Im większa średnica softboxu tym łagodniejsze przejście tonalne pomiędzy światłem i cieniem.
  3. Jeśli musisz świecić z dużej odległości - zdejmij tkaninę dyfuzyjną. Uzyskasz wtedy jeszcze więcej światła.

CineGEN® — studio equipment designed by practitioners

CineGEN® is a Polish studio equipment brand we created in 2011 in Janki near Warsaw. We don't have 35 years of tradition or offices on two continents — what we do have is around 40,000 orders with CineGEN® products fulfilled every year and 15 years of working with light, which taught us what actually works in a studio.

The brand was born for a simple reason: selling other people's equipment, we too often had to explain flaws we had no control over. We preferred taking responsibility to making excuses — so we started building our own.

How we work

Specifications and part of the designs are created in Poland; manufacturing takes place in China, under our supervision. We say this openly, because that's how studio equipment is made all over the world today. The difference lies in who sets the requirements and who answers for the result: every batch arrives at our warehouse in Janki, where we inspect it, and before a product enters our catalogue, we work with it ourselves — on packshots, portraits and video shoots.

Our product descriptions state real parameters and real limitations. A 200 PLN lamp won't replace a 2,000 PLN kit — and we won't pretend otherwise.
