Assembly Instructions:
- Unpack the softbox, glass fiber rods, and diffuser fabric.
- Remove the lighting fixture from its box (marked CGLX4). The outer edge of the fixture has eight holes.
- Insert the glass fiber rods into these holes. Ensure to insert them with the thicker end first, applying slight force if needed.
- Lay out the softbox fabric on the floor, ensuring the black material faces down and the silver side is up. Keep the Velcro straps open.
- Place the lighting fixture on top of the silver surface. Insert the thinner ends of the rods into the pockets sewn at each corner of the softbox fabric.
- As you insert more rods, the softbox will start to stretch and form its shape. This may require some force, especially with octa softboxes.
- Once assembled, set up the lighting stand and mount the fixture on it. Tighten the butterfly screws and secure the Velcro straps at the back of the fabric.
- Install the bulbs into the sockets.
- Attach the diffuser fabric to the softbox using the Velcro straps.

CINEGEN®
Digishots Sp. z o.o.
CineGEN® — studio equipment designed by practitioners
CineGEN® is a Polish studio equipment brand we created in 2011 in Janki near Warsaw. We don't have 35 years of tradition or offices on two continents — what we do have is around 40,000 orders with CineGEN® products fulfilled every year and 15 years of working with light, which taught us what actually works in a studio.
The brand was born for a simple reason: selling other people's equipment, we too often had to explain flaws we had no control over. We preferred taking responsibility to making excuses — so we started building our own.
How we work
Specifications and part of the designs are created in Poland; manufacturing takes place in China, under our supervision. We say this openly, because that's how studio equipment is made all over the world today. The difference lies in who sets the requirements and who answers for the result: every batch arrives at our warehouse in Janki, where we inspect it, and before a product enters our catalogue, we work with it ourselves — on packshots, portraits and video shoots.
Our product descriptions state real parameters and real limitations. A 200 PLN lamp won't replace a 2,000 PLN kit — and we won't pretend otherwise.
What you'll find under the CineGEN® brand
Continuous lighting (FlatLight™, Lumifi™, ReLed™, Ensö™ panels with CRI >95), Ignitix™ photographic bulbs, softboxes and light modifiers, lighting, photo and video stands and tripods (including the Jupiter™ series), and home studio kits.
What we stand behind
CineGEN® is a trademark protected at the Patent Office of the Republic of Poland (application Z.574925, rights held by Digishots Sp. z o.o.).
Warranty service and spare parts are handled at our facility in Janki — no shipping your gear "back to the manufacturer".
