Softboxes are an indispensable part of any photography studio setup. They modify light properties such as the size of the illuminated surface, intensity, and direction of illumination. Softboxes are increasingly used in video productions too. They provide a great alternative to kinoflo lights and are extremely useful for photography due to their ability to soften tonal transitions between light and shadow.
Tip: Having too much light can be more problematic than not having enough. It is recommended to start setting up your lighting from the lamps that have the least impact on the entire scene - the key (main) light should be set up last.
Lighting Fixture
The lighting fixture consists of a double E27 bulb holder and a softbox dome. The shape of the dome is designed to ensure maximum light reaches the diffusing fabric.
The softbox is made from high-quality materials, providing optimal working conditions. It has a silver reflective surface that directs the light in the desired direction. The lighting fixture allows for power adjustment by turning individual bulbs on or off. It can be easily mounted on lighting stands.
Control Panel
The lamp control is intuitive and limited to two switches that operate the left and right pairs of lamps. The fixture also features a 3A fuse and an opening for mounting an umbrella.
CGLS-802 Studio Stand
A universal, three-section lighting stand ideal for use both in the studio and outdoors. It provides stability even under heavy loads. The height is adjustable from 78 to 220 cm, and it has convenient section clamps.
The stand is compatible with various lamp types and lighting kits, making it an indispensable tool for any photographer.
Photographic Bulb (65W / 5500K)
