Setup Guide

1. Unpack the softbox, glass fiber rods, and diffuser fabric from their respective cases.
2. From the CGLX4 box, remove the lighting fixture. The outer edge of the fixture (black plastic) has eight holes.
3. Insert the glass fiber rods into the openings in the lighting fixture. Ensure you insert them with the thicker end first and push firmly but gently.
4. Lay the softbox fabric on the floor, ensuring the black material touches the ground while the silver side faces upward. Keep the Velcro straps open.
5. Place the lighting fixture onto the silver surface of the softbox. Insert the thinner ends of the rods into the pockets sewn into each corner of the softbox fabric.
6. As you insert more rods, the softbox will begin to stretch and take shape. You may need to apply some force, especially with octagonal softboxes.
7. Once assembled, set up the lighting stand and attach the fixture to it. Tighten the butterfly screws and secure the Velcro straps at the back of the softbox fabric.
8. Install the bulbs into the sockets on the lighting fixture.
9. Attach the diffuser fabric by securing it with the Velcro straps attached to the softbox.
