Recently, continuous light lamps have gained increasing recognition as an alternative to kinoflo lamps. We present a ready-to-use lamp set for photographic and video applications - a set based on softboxes, studio stands, and photo bulbs (5500K).
Softbox
Softboxes have long been a fundamental element of photographic studio equipment. They are used to modify the properties of light: the size of the luminous surface, intensity, and direction of light. Recently, they have gained increasing popularity in video productions. Softboxes provide an excellent alternative to kinoflo lamps by softening the light and reducing or eliminating shadows.
The presented fixture is a high-quality, functional softbox suitable for both flash bulbs and continuous light bulbs with an E27 screw thread.
The softbox dome - measuring 50x50 cm - has a silver embossed interior: the light is evenly distributed inside the softbox, ensuring uniform intensity across the entire surface of the front diffuser without any weakening effect as you move away from the center to the edges.
The exterior of the softbox is matte black, preventing reflection of light from other lamps. It features a standard mounting for lighting stands.
Assembling/disassembling this softbox is exceptionally simple, and when folded, it takes up little space and is highly mobile. The high-quality materials used in the construction guarantee trouble-free operation for years. They are designed and manufactured to ensure safe use with fluorescent bulbs.
CGLS-802 Studio Stand
A lightweight, studio and outdoor three-section lighting stand. Maximum height of 230cm, working height of 220 cm, comfortable section clamps, a 16mm studio head with a universal 1/4" thread. The stand is designed for use with small and medium lamps as well as lighting sets. It also works perfectly in configurations with flash and continuous light bulbs, softboxes, and RedHead halogen lamps. Good build quality, 12-month warranty.
Its dimensions when folded have been reduced by using a telescopic folding mechanism, thus not limiting the wide range of work (ranging from 78 to 220 cm, adjustable smoothly to any height) and versatility of applications. The leg spread (from foot to foot) is 75cm.
Photo Bulb (125W/5500K)
The presented fluorescent bulb generates light with a color ideal for photographic applications - it does not introduce any color bias. Thanks to the natural rendering of colors, this bulb is perfect for photographers working under continuous lighting conditions. Using constant lighting allows you to model light faster and better predict the final result in photographs. The low power consumption enables using this bulb both in open fixtures and partially closed ones (softboxes, diffusers, octabanks). The luminous power of the 125W bulb is equivalent to a 600W halogen bulb.
