The lamp arrives disassembled, with the softbox, glass fiber rods, diffusion fabric, statyv, bulbs, and lighting fixture packaged separately. Assembly involves several steps: first, unpack all components; then insert the glass fiber rods into the eight openings on the outer edge of the lighting fixture, ensuring they are inserted thicker end first; lay out the softbox fabric with the black material facing down and silver side up, leaving the Velcro straps unfastened; place the assembled lighting fixture onto the silver surface of the softbox; insert the thinner ends of the rods into the pockets sewn into the corners of the softbox fabric; as you insert each rod, the softbox will begin to stretch over the bending rods and may require some force, especially for octagonal softboxes; once the softbox is assembled, set up the lighting stand and attach the fixture to it; tighten the butterfly screws and fasten the Velcro straps at the back of the softbox fabric; install the bulbs into the fixture; finally, drape the diffusion fabric over the softbox, securing it with the Velcro straps.
