Based on professional film set experiences, CineGEN has created lamps with a semi-spherical light modifier at their core - the Helio™ 60 softbox. Most of the reflector has been replaced with diffusing fabric, changing how the light is propagated and ultimately, how it illuminates. The Helio™ creates an extensive, soft area of light with a gentler intensity compared to classic octaboxes of the same power. The light is distributed in all directions (360°), with a relatively large source size. The lamp's height allows you to use the ceiling as a natural reflector.

The light from Chrome™ Lanterns complements background lighting perfectly. Often, especially in amateur video, we see a shot where the foreground is well-lit (usually a face) while the background remains underexposed (the interior of a room). Placing Chrome™ Lanterns in the background allows you to simultaneously illuminate it and emphasize the foreground through contour lighting (hairlight, three-point lighting, movie look).

Adding Chrome™ Lanterns improves tonal dynamics, enhancing image quality (and indirectly increasing bit rate during digital recording), allowing for lower ISO settings, and improving plasticity and color accuracy.

The Helio™ is a surprisingly effective adaptation of professional spherical softboxes. Its genius and simplicity lie in utilizing an existing, proven solution - the integrated octagonal softbox - to create a modifier with the properties of a completely different fixture: a spherical softbox. As a result, you get a professional light at a price that's unattainable for classic constructions. Assembly is also quick and easy, just like setting up a studio umbrella, saving valuable time. The diffusing fabric provides good light dispersion while only slightly reducing intensity.

The Helio™ 60 has a classic E27 bulb fitting and a mounting socket for lighting stands (most studio stands will fit). In the softbox (closed fixture), you can use low-temperature photo fluorescent lights as well as LED bulbs.

Remotely controlled LED bulbs with adjustable color temperature and brightness. Designed for photographic and cinematic applications, allowing remote control even after installation in softbox fixtures. Efficient aluminum radiators provide passive cooling without noise, making the bulbs suitable for filming with sound recording.

The variable color temperature is achieved through a classic method known from on-camera lights - by mounting a chessboard of luminescent diodes with two different color temperatures. This solution has an additional advantage: shifts in the spectrum of individual diodes increase effective color rendering for the entire bulb. The range of color temperatures goes from 3600K to 6200K. The high luminous efficacy of the bulb means that, despite low active power consumption, we achieve very high luminance comparable to 170W bulbs.

The LED matrices are covered with a protective light-diffusing lens (diffuser) spanning an area of 112cm². This ensures that emitted light has a pleasant, soft distribution regardless of intensity. At short distances, the softening effect can match that of a softbox or beauty dish lamp. The bulb produces very nice, relatively large reflections.

The generated light is continuous without flickering, enabling filming at higher frame rates. The bulb is designed for indoor use, with an IP20 protection rating. It's intended for professional applications in photographic studio conditions and not suitable for household use. The bulb housing isn't hermetically sealed.

Three-section studio and outdoor lighting stands with a maximum height of 210cm, working height of 200 cm, comfortable section clamps, a 16mm studio head with universal 1/4" thread. Designed for use with small and medium lights as well as lighting kits. They work excellently in configurations with flashlights and continuous light sources, softboxes, and halogen lamps. Their compact dimensions when folded are achieved through the use of a telescopic folding mechanism, which doesn't limit their wide range of applications (from 78 to 210 cm, adjustable smoothly at any height) or versatility.

The stands allow Chrome™ Lanterns lights to be used in most situations encountered in home studio conditions. The height allows framing from a seated position up to a wide shot of an entire room.
