Softbox
The fitting used is a high-quality softbox suitable for both flash bulbs and continuous light bulbs. The 40x40 cm dome is finished inside with silver material. Light is evenly distributed within the softbox interior and maintains uniform power across the entire diffuser surface. The exterior of the softbox is matte black, preventing reflection of other lamps' light.
The setup and breakdown are exceptionally simple, and the folded softbox takes up minimal space. The high-quality materials used ensure trouble-free operation for years. Designed and manufactured to guarantee safe use with fluorescent bulbs.
Studio Stand
Lightweight, studio and outdoor three-section lighting stand. Maximum height of 230cm, working height 220cm, comfortable section clamps, 16mm studio head with universal 1/4" thread. Designed for use with small and medium lamps as well as lighting kits. It works perfectly in a configuration with flash and continuous light bulbs, softboxes, RedHead halogen lamps. Good quality of workmanship, 12-month warranty.
Its dimensions when folded have been reduced by using a telescopic folding mechanism, thus not limiting the wide range of work (ranging from 78 to 220 cm, adjustable smoothly at any height) and universality of applications. Leg spread (from foot to foot) is 75cm.
Photo Bulb (65W/5500K)
The presented fluorescent lamp generates light with a color ideal for photographic applications - it does not introduce color distortions. Thanks to the natural rendering of colors, the bulb works perfectly among photographers working under continuous light. Using constant lighting allows you to model light faster and better predict the final effect obtained in photos. Low power consumption enables the use of this bulb both in open fixtures and partially closed ones (softboxes, diffusers, octies). The luminous power of the 65W bulb corresponds to a 325W halogen bulb.

Can I use a softbox for filming?
Absolutely. Recently, we have been observing more and more often the penetration of applications reserved for photography into the world of film. The SOFTBOX 40x40cm light fixture is an excellent alternative to budget versions of panel lamps (so-called kinoflo). The cost of such a solution is significantly lower, while achieving the same effect.
What's the difference between an octagonal softbox and a rectangular one?
The easiest way to notice the difference is by looking at the shape of reflections on reflective surfaces. This is especially noticeable in portrait and fashion photography - the octagonal shape, similar to circular, mimics solar reflections. Octagonal softboxes also feature better light distribution (especially when lighting from the front).
What should you remember?
- Softboxes work best at short distances. Place them as close as possible to the illuminated persons or objects, right on the edge of the frame.
- The larger the softbox diameter, the softer the tonal transition between light and shadow.
- If you need to shine from a long distance - remove the diffusive fabric. You will then get even more light.
