Softbox
The applied fixture is a high-quality softbox suitable for both flash bulbs and continuous light bulbs. The 50x70 cm dome is finished inside with silver material. Light is evenly distributed within the softbox and maintains uniform power across the entire diffuser surface. The exterior of the softbox is matte black, preventing reflection of other lamps' light.
The softbox unfolds and folds easily, taking up little space when folded. High-quality materials ensure trouble-free operation for years. Designed and manufactured to guarantee safe use with fluorescent bulbs.
Studio Stand
Lightweight, studio and outdoor three-section lighting stand. Maximum height 200cm, working height 190cm, comfortable section clamps, 16mm studio head with universal 1/4" thread. The stand is designed for use with small and medium lamps as well as lighting sets. It works perfectly in combination with flash and continuous light bulbs, softboxes, RedHead halogen lamps.
Its dimensions when folded have been reduced by the use of a telescopic folding mechanism, thus not limiting its wide range of applications. The leg spread (from foot to foot) is 75cm.
Photo Bulb (65W/5500K)
The presented fluorescent lamp generates light with a color ideal for photographic applications - it does not introduce any color distortions. Thanks to the natural rendering of colors, the bulb works perfectly among photographers working under continuous lighting. The use of constant lighting allows you to model light faster and better predict the final effect on photos. Low power consumption enables the use of this bulb in both open and partially closed fixtures (softboxes, diffusers, octas). The luminous power of the bulb is equivalent to a 400W halogen lamp.

Can I use a softbox for filming?
Absolutely. Recently, we have been observing an increasing overlap of applications reserved for photography in the world of film. The SOFTBOX 40x60cm continuous light fixture is an excellent alternative to budget panel lamp versions (so-called Kinoflo). The cost of such a solution is significantly lower while achieving the same effect.
What is the difference between an octagonal and rectangular softbox?
The easiest way to notice a difference is by observing the shape of reflections on reflective surfaces. This is particularly noticeable in portrait and fashion photography - the octagonal shape, similar to circular, mimics solar reflections. Octagonal softboxes also feature better light distribution (especially when lighting from the front).
What should you keep in mind?
- Softboxes work best at short distances. Place them as close to the illuminated persons or objects, right on the edge of the frame.
- The larger the softbox diameter, the softer the tonal transition between light and shadow.
- If you need to illuminate from a long distance - remove the diffusive fabric. You will then get even more light.
