A softbox is a type of lighting commonly used in photography and filming. It's a special light source designed to provide soft, even, and balanced illumination for objects or models. The softbox consists of a reflective light dome with either a flash lamp or continuous light mounted inside.
The main function of the softbox is to diffuse light, eliminating harsh shadows that can occur when using direct light sources like flashbulbs. This allows photographers and filmmakers to achieve more gentle and natural lighting effects, especially when shooting portraits or product photography.

High-quality SOFTBOX fixtures integrated with E27 sockets, ideal for both flash bulbs and continuous light bulbs. The domes are finished inside with silver material, ensuring optimal light diffusion. The softbox lamps provide even distribution of light throughout the interior, maintaining consistent power across the diffuser surface.
The matte black outer surface of the softboxes effectively eliminates reflections from other lights, making them ideal tools for professional photography. The unfolding and folding process is incredibly simple, and when folded, the softbox takes up minimal space, facilitating storage and transportation.
The CGLS-801 light stand is characterized by a solid construction made of lightweight material, making it easy to carry and maneuver on location. The stand's head equipped with a 16mm shaft allows for stable mounting of various lighting types, providing flexibility in work.

Absolutely. Recently, we've been seeing more and more crossover of applications reserved for photography in the world of film. The SOFTBOX 40x60 cm continuous light fixture serves as an excellent alternative to budget panel lamp versions (so-called kinoflo). The cost of such a solution is significantly lower, yet the achieved effect remains the same.
CineGEN® is a Polish studio equipment brand we created in 2011 in Janki near Warsaw. We don't have 35 years of tradition or offices on two continents — what we do have is around 40,000 orders with CineGEN® products fulfilled every year and 15 years of working with light, which taught us what actually works in a studio.
The brand was born for a simple reason: selling other people's equipment, we too often had to explain flaws we had no control over. We preferred taking responsibility to making excuses — so we started building our own.
Specifications and part of the designs are created in Poland; manufacturing takes place in China, under our supervision. We say this openly, because that's how studio equipment is made all over the world today. The difference lies in who sets the requirements and who answers for the result: every batch arrives at our warehouse in Janki, where we inspect it, and before a product enters our catalogue, we work with it ourselves — on packshots, portraits and video shoots.
Our product descriptions state real parameters and real limitations. A 200 PLN lamp won't replace a 2,000 PLN kit — and we won't pretend otherwise.
