The light source doesn't cause color distortion, so it's perfect for photographers. Photographers can use this lamp as their main or supplementary light in portraits, fashion photography, product photography, and more. It is also suitable for filming close-ups, interviews, and presentations on film sets. The lamp arrives disassembled with the stand, bulbs, fixture, and softbox separately packaged. Assembly involves several steps: first, remove the softbox from its cover along with the tension rods and diffusion fabric; set aside the diffusion fabric. Next, take out the lighting fixture from the box marked CGLX4; on the outer edge of the fixture (black plastic), there are eight holes. Insert the glass fiber rods into these openings in the lighting fixture, ensuring you insert them thicker end first as they should fit snugly but not too tightly. Lay the softbox fabric on the floor with the black material touching the ground and the silver side facing up; leave the Velcro straps unfastened. Place the lighting fixture on top of the silver surface and insert the thinner ends of the rods into the pockets sewn into the corners of the softbox fabric. As you continue to insert the remaining rods, the softbox fabric will begin to stretch over the bending rods - this may require some force, especially for octagonal softboxes. Once assembled, set up the lighting stand and attach the fixture onto it; tighten the butterfly screws and fasten the Velcro straps at the back of the softbox fabric. Secure the bulbs into the fixture. Finally, place the diffusion fabric over the softbox, securing it with the Velcro straps attached to the fabric.
