Are you looking for a convenient photo and video studio lighting setup at a good price? The Panolux™ series offers ready-to-use constant light kits based on integrated softbox lighting fixtures, lighting stands, and specialized new generation LED bulbs with neutral light color.

A softbox is a type of lighting commonly used in photography and filming. It serves as a special light source designed to provide soft, even, and balanced illumination for objects or models. The softbox consists of a reflective light dome with either a flash lamp or continuous light mounted inside.

The primary function of the softbox is to diffuse light, eliminating harsh shadows that may occur when using direct light sources like camera flashes. This allows photographers and filmmakers to achieve more gentle and natural lighting effects, especially when capturing portraits or product photography.

Softboxes are widely used in photographic studios and come in various sizes and shapes.

What can you use it for:

☑️ Main or supplementary light in portraits

☑️ Supplementary light in nudes and fashion photography

☑️ Supplementary light in wider frames

☑️ Children's photography

☑️ Product photography

☑️ Film studio, film set (close-ups, interviews)

✅ Octagonal Softboxes 90 cm

High-quality SOFTBOX fixtures integrated with E27 sockets, perfect for both flash bulbs and continuous light bulbs. The domes are finished inside with silver material, ensuring optimal light diffusion. The softbox lamps provide even distribution of light throughout the interior while maintaining consistent power across the diffuser surface.

The matte black exterior surface of the softboxes effectively eliminates reflections from other lights, making them ideal tools for professional photography. The setup and breakdown process is incredibly simple, and when folded, the softbox takes up minimal space, facilitating storage and transportation.

✅ Studio Light Stands

The CGLS-802 light stand is characterized by a solid construction made of lightweight material, making it easy to carry and maneuver on location. The tripod head equipped with a 16mm shaft allows for stable mounting of various lighting types, providing flexibility in work.

An advanced height adjustment mechanism allows the stand to be adapted to different scenarios, enabling work at varying levels. The light stand is user-friendly thanks to its quick and smooth height adjustment, speeding up the preparation process before a session.

The CGLS-802 light stand remains stable even under heavier loads, making it an indispensable tool in a photographic studio or during outdoor sessions. Its sturdy construction ensures confidence that lighting equipment will be safe and stable throughout the entire work process.

This model also stands out for its compact size when folded, facilitating storage and transportation. The collapsible CGLS-801 light stand takes up minimal space, making it an ideal travel companion for professionals who often work on location.

✅ Photo Bulbs (85W/5500K)

New generation photographic bulbs

Advanced LED Ignitix™ bulbs combine excellent quality with energy efficiency. Thanks to innovative technology, they offer incredibly even and natural light, replacing traditional 85W bulbs while consuming impressively low amounts of energy. Their eco-friendly nature makes them environmentally friendly while also contributing to lower electricity costs.

Ignitix™ stand out for their long lifespan, eliminating the need for frequent bulb replacements. Additionally, due to their high energy efficiency, they reduce carbon dioxide emissions. They are compatible with various types of fixtures, making it easy to integrate them with existing softboxes. These bulbs emit light at a color temperature that reproduces colors naturally, which is extremely important when working on artistic, portrait, or product photography.

Can I use a softbox for filming?

Absolutely! Recently, we've been observing an increasing crossover of applications reserved for photography into the world of film. The SOFTBOX OCTA 90 cm constant light fixture serves as an excellent alternative to budget-friendly panel lamp versions (known as kinoflo). The cost of such a solution is significantly lower, yet it achieves the same effect.

What should you keep in mind?

1. Softboxes work best at short distances. Position them as close as possible to the illuminated persons or objects, right on the edge of the frame.
2. The larger the softbox diameter, the softer the tonal transition between light and shadow.
3. If you need to illuminate from a greater distance - remove the diffusive fabric. This will provide even more light.
