The CG-3018-162 (162cm tall) Film Maker is a great semi-professional photographic and video tripod, perfect for filming home celebrations as well as a travel companion on trips out of town. Thanks to its dual-function oil head, it also works well as a photographic tripod. Framing the shot is quick, and panning is smooth with pleasant resistance that professional heads would be proud of.
Oil photo-video head
The three-bearing oil head enclosed in a plastic housing operates with very pleasant resistance. It is equipped with a comfortable handle for framing during filming. The head can be set and locked into any position thanks to the panorama locks (horizontal lock) and tilt (vertical lock). The mounting foot allows tilting by 90°, so the camera can be positioned vertically (in portrait mode). The quick-release, covered with anti-slip material safely holds the equipment attached via a universal photographic 1/4 inch screw. The head can be removed from the tripod and mounted on other video equipment (sliders, cranes) using a 3/8 inch screw.

Tripod
The tripod base consists of an aluminum tripod with a central triangle for increased stiffness. The leg profile, similar to more expensive tripods, is a combination of a circle and a polygon which provides greater resistance to bending and thus guarantees greater durability. At the height of the handle each leg is covered with thermal foam so that the tripod can be used on winter days.
To estimate leveling, the top of the tripod is equipped with a spirit level. An additional handle allows you to securely transport the tripod between shots.
The leg sections are locked using plastic clamps. Each foot is mounted on a ball joint so that the feet easily adapt to the ground. The legs fold classically, telescopically (3 sections).
The shaft column ends with a hook which enables weighting and thus increases the stability of the tripod.
