BikeShell™ 420DSI by Ringmehr® is a cover made from internally impregnated synthetic polypropylene fabric. It shields valuable equipment from rain and snow, extending its lifespan and ensuring proper functionality. The cover also protects the paintwork of bicycles or motorcycles during storage.

A double fastening at the bottom and two accessory openings allow for the installation of anti-theft security on the covered equipment.

The internal impregnation contains additional substances that absorb ultraviolet (UV) radiation. Storing a vehicle in this cover extends the lifespan of tire rubber and plastic components by protecting them from UV radiation.

Protection

Atmospheric Precipitation (rain, snow)
Protection against atmospheric conditions due to the water resistance of the material shields metal components from premature corrosion caused by moisture.
Dust, Renovation Debris
Covering the vehicle during storage protects it from dust and debris, which is crucial when preparing for a ride at the beginning of the season. Lubricated parts are also shielded from dust and debris, requiring no cleaning, while lubricating materials retain their nominal properties for longer.
UV Radiation
Ultraviolet radiation can degrade paintwork (color durability), tire rubber (cracking of rubber surfaces), and the longevity and color of plastic components over extended exposure. Therefore, when storing vehicles in sunny locations, it's advisable to use covers with UV-filtering additives.
Bio (leaves, bird droppings)
Biological materials can decompose locally, creating unsightly discoloration or corrosion spots. Bird droppings have a destructive effect on the vehicle's paintwork surfaces.
Transport Discretion
The BikeShell™ covers are ideal for transportation (hitch racks, trailer racks, camper racks), shielding valuable bikes from passersby and reducing the risk of opportunistic theft during parking.

Storing a vehicle in BikeShell™ covers allows you to enjoy your new dream equipment for longer. Ringmehr® strives to ensure maximum protection by designing and producing these covers. To fully benefit from this protection, it's essential to familiarize yourself with and adhere to safety guidelines.

Transport

When using the cover during bicycle or motorcycle transport, be particularly cautious of increased air resistance. Please note that a vehicle in this cover presents greater aerodynamic drag - especially bicycles.

Use covers exclusively within the "aerodynamic shadow" - behind the vehicle (mounting on a hitch, mounting on a rack behind a camping trailer, etc.)
Do not use the cover during transport in roof-mounted racks or cargo trailers. Such installation can lead to damage of the cover and, in extreme cases, cause a road accident.
When transporting a bicycle on a hitch-mounted rack or behind a camping trailer, drive at lower speeds within the range specified in your car's manual. It is advisable to use additional compression straps (not included in this offer).

Temperature

The cover is made of polyester and does not provide fire or high-temperature resistance.

When storing motorcycles, wait until the exhaust system and engine have completely cooled down. Putting a cover on a hot motorcycle can damage it and, in extreme cases, cause a fire!
Do not light fires, use grills, or conduct work with open flames near vehicles secured by BikeShell™ covers.
When mounting the cover on a hitch-mounted rack, ensure that it does not come into contact with your car's exhaust pipe.

Pokrowiec sprawia wrażenie wytrwałego,solidnego.Podczas deszczu na wakacjach sprawdził się chroniąc rowery,a było wietrznie.Zmiesciły sie 2 duże rowery,jeden średni i mały-biegówka.

Fajny pokrowiec, 3 rowery XL, L, M przykryte w całości, przetestowany w deszcz, wszystko suche. Nie testowałem w transporcie, material w miarę sztywny. Ogólnie jestem zadowolony.

Świetna jakość materiału, która chroni przed zamoczeniem a w środku wszystko suche. Łatwo zakłada na rower, może pomieścić 2 rowery. Zapięcia na początku i końcu, a także wypreparowane dziury dla blokady rowerowej. Do tego świetny sposób składania i przechowywania na ramie miedzy kierownica, a siedziskiem. Zdecydowanie polecam ten pokrowiec.
