BikeShell™ 300DSI by Ringmehr® is a cover made from internally impregnated synthetic polypropylene fabric. It shields valuable equipment from rain and snow, extending its lifespan and ensuring proper functionality. The cover also protects the paintwork of bicycles or motorcycles during storage.
A double fastening at the bottom and two accessory openings allow for the installation of anti-theft security on the covered equipment.
The internal impregnation contains additional substances that absorb ultraviolet (UV) radiation. Storing a vehicle in this cover prolongs the lifespan of tire rubber and plastic components by shielding them from UV rays.

Protection against atmospheric conditions due to the water resistance of the material shields the vehicle's metal components from premature corrosion caused by moisture. - Dust, Renovation Debris
Covering the vehicle during storage protects it from dust and debris, which is crucial when preparing for a ride at the beginning of the season. Lubricated parts are also shielded from dust and debris, requiring no cleaning, while lubricants retain their nominal properties for longer. - UV Radiation
Ultraviolet radiation can degrade paintwork (color durability), tire rubber (surface cracking), and the longevity of plastic components when exposed for extended periods. Therefore, using covers with UV-filtering additives is recommended when storing vehicles in sunny locations. - Bio (leaves, bird droppings)

To fully benefit from this protection, it is essential to familiarize yourself with and adhere to safety guidelines.
Transport
When using a cover during bicycle or motorcycle transport, exercise caution due to increased air resistance. Please note that the vehicle in the cover creates greater aerodynamic drag - this is especially relevant for bicycles.
- Use covers exclusively within the "aerodynamic shadow" - behind the vehicle (mounting on a hitch, mounting on a rack behind a camping trailer, etc.)
- Do not use covers during transport in roof-mounted racks or cargo trailers. Such installation can lead to cover damage and, in extreme cases, cause an accident.
- When transporting a bicycle on a hitch-mounted rack or behind a camping trailer, drive at lower speeds within the range specified in your vehicle's manual. It is advisable to use additional compression straps (not included in this offer).
The cover is made of polyester and does not provide fire or high-temperature resistance.
- When storing motorcycles, wait until the exhaust system and engine have completely cooled down. Putting a cover on a hot motorcycle can damage it and, in extreme cases, cause a fire!
- Do not light fires, use grills, or conduct work with open flames near vehicles secured by BikeShell™ covers.
- When mounting the cover on a hitch-mounted rack, ensure that it does not come into contact with your vehicle's exhaust pipe.
