Mercury™ CG-1050 by CineGEN with smartphone holder
A compact photo-video tripod designed for basic photographic and cinematic shots. It allows you to work with cameras and camcorders weighing up to 3 kg. Light, stable, and easy to use, it's perfect for home studios, live streaming, or outdoor shoots.
✅ FREE STORAGE AND TRANSPORT CASE
⭐ The A1S adapter, along with the CG-1050 tripod, will help you deliver your live streams.
⭐ This unique set allows you to easily and quickly adjust the height at which you want your phone to be positioned.
⭐ The movable head and rotating holder enable recording in both portrait and landscape orientations.
⭐ By purchasing this set with the CG-1050 tripod, you'll achieve excellent top-down shots from various angles.
✅ Smartphone Adapter
The A1S tripod adapter allows you to mount mobile phones onto photographic and cinematic tripods. It has a 1/4" mounting hole, allowing it to be attached to any type of tripod (photo, video, lighting). The adapter enables smooth angle adjustment from 0 degrees (vertical) to 90 degrees (horizontal). Given the increasingly better technical parameters of mobile phones that allow for high-quality image recording, and considering the excellent value for money (you can record FHD and 4K images at a low cost), we conclude that every filmmaker should have a smartphone adapter.
✅ Tripod
The tripod's legs are made of aluminum and have a multi-sided profile for increased stiffness and durability. An additional central tripod joint connects the legs to the central column, providing extra stability. The tripod legs are equipped with anti-slip feet, and each leg can be adjusted independently, making the tripod very stable even on uneven outdoor surfaces. The leg locks are classic ABS clamps.
✅ Central Column
The central column of the tripod contains an extendable central shaft with a height adjustable via a crank. This is a well-known and commonly used solution in compact tripods. Setting the shaft (35cm) to the appropriate height using the crank allows for quick and easy adjustment of the camera's height without having to adjust the tripod legs. This solution is particularly useful in product photography and macro photography.
✅ Head
The tripod head (a so-called 3D head) allows for both horizontal orientation (panorama) and vertical orientation (portrait). The head has a very wide range of motion. In the case of horizontal work (panorama), it is fluid at 360°, while tilting the head ranges from +120° to -120°. The tripod's quick-release plate measures 40 x 40 mm and is finished with a rubber grip, equipped with both a 1/4 inch mounting screw and a hidden positioning shaft for cameras. The tripod handle also serves as a tilt lock. A large and clear level is built into the head, allowing for precise horizontal leveling of the tripod. The tripod comes with a convenient carry bag.
⭐ This tripod is designed for photographers and filmmakers starting out with cameras or camcorders.
⭐ It serves as an excellent basic equipment set for a home studio, acting as a live streaming (YouTube Zoom TikTok Messenger etc.) tripod.
⭐ It also performs well during domestic celebrations and outdoor excursions.
⭐ It works with any camera or camcorder equipped with a mounting thread at the bottom.
⭐ Very easy to use.

CineGEN® — studio equipment designed by practitioners
CineGEN® is a Polish studio equipment brand we created in 2011 in Janki near Warsaw. We don't have 35 years of tradition or offices on two continents — what we do have is around 40,000 orders with CineGEN® products fulfilled every year and 15 years of working with light, which taught us what actually works in a studio.
The brand was born for a simple reason: selling other people's equipment, we too often had to explain flaws we had no control over. We preferred taking responsibility to making excuses — so we started building our own.
How we work
Specifications and part of the designs are created in Poland; manufacturing takes place in China, under our supervision. We say this openly, because that's how studio equipment is made all over the world today. The difference lies in who sets the requirements and who answers for the result: every batch arrives at our warehouse in Janki, where we inspect it, and before a product enters our catalogue, we work with it ourselves — on packshots, portraits and video shoots.
Our product descriptions state real parameters and real limitations. A 200 PLN lamp won't replace a 2,000 PLN kit — and we won't pretend otherwise.
What you'll find under the CineGEN® brand
Continuous lighting (FlatLight™, Lumifi™, ReLed™, Ensö™ panels with CRI >95), Ignitix™ photographic bulbs, softboxes and light modifiers, lighting, photo and video stands and tripods (including the Jupiter™ series), and home studio kits.
What we stand behind
CineGEN® is a trademark protected at the Patent Office of the Republic of Poland (application Z.574925, rights held by Digishots Sp. z o.o.).
Warranty service and spare parts are handled at our facility in Janki — no shipping your gear "back to the manufacturer".
