The F&V studio lamp works well for both professional and amateur use, in a photographic studio as well as on a film set. The device faithfully reproduces colors thanks to bulbs with a color temperature of 5500K (daylight white) and a sufficiently high Ra coefficient (color rendering) of 85.
The bulbs do not heat up as much as halogen lamps. The heat they produce is barely noticeable. They are mounted in a black, metal housing with a silver interior that reflects and directs the light. The housing contains four door wings with internal mirror surfaces. The manufacturer has used a tripod mount with adjustable tilt.
